From the very beginning, our mission at EG Home has been to build homes for families as if we were building them for our own. That’s why our team prioritizes superior craftsmanship and exceptional customer care with every home we build. This week, we’re excited to introduce you to our new OSC, Ryan Paglia, the first person that our prospective homebuyers meet on their journey.
What is your relationship with EG Home? What do you love most about working with them?
I’m finishing up my first week at EG, and it’s been a great experience so far. Robin has been a great help in getting me introduced into the sales process. Matt and the rest of the team have been so kind and helpful. I love the team atmosphere here and the willingness to help one another.
How will having an OSC like you impact EG homeowners?
An OSC is the first point of contact to someone who is looking to purchase a home at one of our communities. My job is to figure out which community would best suit them, and to schedule an appointment for them with our sales team. Then I communicate what the prospect is looking for to the sales team before the appointment. I’m also responsible for following up with them throughout the process, as well as answering any other questions they have.
Where did you grow up? Tell us about your family!
I grew up in and currently still live in Hamden. My father recently retired from Stop & Shop after working there for more than thirty years. My mother owns and operates a commercial and residential cleaning business. My sister teaches elementary and middle school Spanish, and my other sister works for the Town of Hamden.
How do you spend your free time? What do you do to relax?
In my free time I enjoy taking my dog Brady for a walk. We have some great trails around Lake Wintergreen and Sleeping Giant in Hamden, and he loves going on hikes. I love sports, especially NASCAR. I try to go to as many races as I can each year.
What do you wish other people knew about EG Home?
EG Home is so much more than just a homebuilder. They are truly dedicated to building unique, and beautiful communities. Each member of our team is dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience during the entire process.
What would someone be surprised to know about you?
I have never been on an airplane before. My parents enjoy road trips, so we would always drive to wherever we were going for vacation.
Tell us about someone you admire.
My mom. She emigrated from Colombia to the United States at a young age, without knowing any English. She worked hard to start her own business and work a full-time job, all while raising three children with my father. Both of my parents have sacrificed so much to help us succeed, and my sisters and I are forever grateful to them.
Ryan’s enthusiasm and dedication help us to maintain our mission and our values in everything we do. We want to welcome him to the EG Home team, and we look forward to embracing him as part of our family!
